Life Drawing Sessions

Mon 19 February-Wed 28 March (6 weeks) â€‹Mondays 6:30 - 8:30pm & Wednesdays 10am - 12noon 

An informal class of drawing the human form. A great way to learn and improve skills in a bright and comfortable setting. Please bring your own drawing materials. 
Rachel Cowell (Ginger moo) will be offering five Life Drawing sessions in The Loft focused on learning and experimenting with new materials and gaining more skills for people regardless of ability or previous experience. Ages 16+

Papercraft Workshops

Saturdays 17 March & 28 April, 1pm - 5pm

Come and join Natalie O’Shea to make a fabulous handmade greeting cards. If you thought you weren’t artistic, then Natalie will show you how easy it is to make personalised cards whether you think you are crafty or not. 4 hour sessions with all materials provided - however, please bring scissors, ruler, glue and a trimmer, if you have one.

Ukulele Lessons with Mark Orchin

Saturdays 17 & 24 March 

Learn the basics of the instrument, how to play in a group and have fun on Saturdays 9.45am (beginners),10.30am (continuing beginners), and 11.30 (improvers).
Our instructor, Mark Orchin, has a wealth of experience in teaching people of all ages and abilities as well as performing in bands including Touchstone.
Suitable ages 16+.

Six Grooves For Ukulele - Be Part Of It!

Tuesday 10 April, 7pm

Richard Durrant (ukulele virtuoso, composer and sometime producer of The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain) will prepare and rehearse a group of ukulele players to perform in the concert taking place on 21 April.

Cost: £35 per player which includes your concert ticket plus a Six Grooves Passport to perform at future performances worldwide (passport holders may need to buy a ticket for other performances). Find out more here

Harmonica Lessons

Sat 14 July 10am - 3pm
Learn to play the harmonica! By the end of this one-day workshop, you'll be able to play a simple tune, do a train impression, and improvise your first blues solo. This workshop is suitable for all interested participants – no prior experience is necessary, but you will need to bring a 10-hole harmonica in C.
