Milly is bored! She’s stuck at home; it’s raining outside, and she’s played with all of her toys. She finds an amazing pair of shiny talking wellies and discovers their secret power to splash you to any time and place you desire…
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Galoshes of Fortune, The Wellies is an immersive story about magic, splashing, and appreciating the joys of the world you come from.
Engage your senses and explore your imagination this Autumn and join Milly and her new welly friends as they discover adventure and learn to appreciate home.
This performance is suitable for ages 3-7 and audiences with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
During performances of The Wellies, audiences are able to move, vocalise, tick, stim and react to the piece freely. If audience members need a break, they are welcome to leave the performance and come back at a later point. We ask that parents and carers take responsibility for the safety of those in their care.
