Discover new ways to connect with the arts in your community.
At Beck Theatre we strive to offer our community opportunities to engage with the arts and theatre. Here are some opportunities we offer to try to make the theatre and the arts more accessible. Dedicated to those who haven’t yet had the chance to engage with their local venue.
Join a masterclass experience or young people aged 9-19 working in a professional theatre, led by a skilled creative team. Our self-funded, non-profit project offers an inspiring artistic outlet for young people. More specifically for those with limited access to theatre, at a low cost. To learn more click here.
Join our friendly, pay-what-you-can choir (suggested £5) every Monday from 19:30-21:30 at the Beck. Come sing, socialise, and rehearse for two annual concerts. Plus performances at local events like the Battle of Britain Bunker and our pantomime opening night. No need to sign up, just turn up and get involved!
We love getting out into the community, visiting local schools, colleges, and libraries to run workshops, support careers fairs, and give an inside look at theatre life. We also welcome groups to the Beck for venue tours and creative sessions. Often teaming up with partners like Cranford Park.
If you’d like us to attend your event or have an idea for collaboration, please email us with the date, time, location, and a short overview. We’d love to bring the magic of theatre to your group!
We believe in making the arts accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer free seat-filling opportunities and discounts to local charities, groups, and organisations that may not have the means to attend our shows otherwise.
