Beyond the Barricade, the UK’s longest running Musical Theatre Concert Tour, is back for 2025.
Join the cast for two hours of the best of Broadway and the West End, featuring the songs that have made audiences return over and over again for more than 25 years.
Enjoy numbers from The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Lion King, Blood Brothers, Miss Saigon, Hamilton and many others, climaxing with a spectacular finale from, of course, Les Misérables!

ABOUT THE VENUE
Set in the centre of Weston-super-Mare, The Playhouse programme of events includes around 350 performances a year, attracting over 110,000 customers to the venue. The quality, range and diversity of the events has established the theatre as the home of live entertainment in Weston - from comedy to ballet, kids shows to live music. Plus the theatre regularly sees local schools and performing arts groups take to the stage for their annual productions and dance festivals.
