Hours of work: 40 per week (annualised)
Background

in Weston-super-Mare, and The Castle in Wellingborough.
Purpose Of The Role
To assist in the running of the Technical Department (and sometimes the building’s
maintenance). To assist the Technical & Facilities Manager. To work on a broad range of
incoming and in-house productions, in a variety of job roles within technical theatre. To lead
casuals and others as necessary during get-ins etc.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate would be proficient in all aspects of technical theatre, including
projection and A/V, lighting, sound, flying, get-ins/outs, and rigging. A sound bias would be
advantageous. The candidate will also be computer-literate, and able to work with
associated software, including Q-Lab. A good knowledge of health and safety is desirable,
as is a demonstrable ability in general maintenance. Also desirable would be a knowledge of
(or qualification in) electrics. Attitude is important, as enthusiasm to learn and succeed is
vital.

Front of House – Duty Manager
Type of contract: Casual
Hourly rate: £12.13 PH
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Hazlitt Theatre Front of House team as a Duty Manager.
This is a flexible role that could fit around another job. Evening, daytime and weekend work is available to suit the right person. There are no set hours or days per week but hours will be dependent on the needs of the Hazlitt.
Purpose of the role:
To manage the Front of House operation during a show, leading the team in the delivery of exceptional levels of customer service, and ensuring everybody enjoys their time at the Hazlitt safely.
